So I finally got around to playing through Undertale for myself recently. I was always a fan of the game, especially in 2015-2016 when it was really big with the AUs and such, but I never got around to actually playing the game (or even watching someone else play through it, funnily enough). The game definitely lived up to the hype, I will say. I endud up doing a neutral route, kiling a couple random monsters here and there but sparing all the important characters, and I enjoyed all the stupid jokes and interactions Toby threw in there. It's surprisingly in-depth for such a short game made (mostly) by one guy, which I guess is why it got popular in the first place lol.
If I had to pick a favorite section of the game, I'd probably have to say Hotland. The skeleton brothers are fun and all, but I enjoyed the puzzles in Hotland and really like Mettaton and Alphys. In terms of favorite fights, that's a little more difficult since most of them are pretty fun. Papyrus, Mettaton EX, Undyne, and Asgore all have very fun fights, tho if I had to pick one I'd say Asgore was probably my favorite out of the major ones. Asgore also has one of my favorite battle themes in the game, though Death by Glamour, Spear of Justice, and Finale are all very good songs as well.
Finally playing through the game has brought me into a bit of an Undertale phase again, which solves my creative struggles from last post I guess. Sorry for the lack of posts, but honestly not much has happened since the last one in terms of new releases so I haven't had much to talk about. Maybe I'll make a post about my OCs at some point, idk.
If I had to rate Undertale, I'd give it 4.5/5 Waffles. Very, very good game, but I'd like to reserve 5 Waffles for games I see absolutely no issues with.
