Pokemon Day was yesterday, and with it came a Pokemon Presents detailing a bunch of new stuff! So, I'm gonna summarize some of the coolest things here :D

Ok so I know I talked a bit about FRLG in my last post, but the games were released yesterday so I felt like it'd be a good idea to talk about 'em again. All the original Link Cable features have been turned into local wireless stuff, which is nice. Pokemon Home compatibility is gonna be released later on too, though only as a one-way transfer which makes sense.
The biggest (and coolest) thing they did though has GOT to be the inclusion of Navel Rock and Birth Island after you beat the Champion; two areas only accessible in the original games through in-person events. This means you can catch Ho-oh, Lugia, and Deoxys after beating the game (and can shiny hunt them!) which is so cool to me as a huge Deoxys fan myself. I'm glad they're continuing the trend started with Celebi in the 3DS release of Crystal, it gives much more of a reason to replay these older games.

At the very end of the stream they announced the next mainline Pokemon games; Pokemon Winds and Pokemon Waves! Not to flood this post with too many words, but I think they look really good! The exclusivity to Switch 2 means that Pokemon can finally make use of a console with some decent horsepower, and it shows in the trailer.
As for the starter designs; I really like them. They all go for something a little different compared to typical starters, especially color-wise, and I think it makes them stand out in a good way! Currently I'm torn between Browt and Gecqua, kinda leaning towards Gecqua but we'll have to see how their evolutions turn out. Here's to hoping Pombon doesn't end up on two legs.
But yeah that's everything super notable, at least to me. Sure there was stuff about Pokemon Champions and the TCG in there, but they're not really that interesting in comparison.
