So quite a few new Mega Evolutions have been revealed for Pokemon Legends Z-A so far, so I figured I might as well share what I think of 'em.

Mega Dragonite

The first of the new Megas to be introduced, and one of the simpler ones. I like the elements of Dragonair they threw into this design, it definitely helps it feel more distinct from Dragonite's base form. The head wings are also a nice touch. Other than that, though, the design is very Kangaskhan-like where not much is really different. I'd give this design a 7/10. Not bad, but far from perfect.

Mega Victreebel

Much more distinct from its base form than Mega Dragonite, and it's done pretty well. The huge head of leaves helps make it look more imposing, and the way it shrinks when it shoots its acid everywhere is a cool animation. My only real gripe with the design is that you can't normally see Victreebel's teeth, which removes a part of the design that I think is pretty important. The design is still generally more unique among the Megas, and fits into the "goofy Megas" group that others like Slowbro call home. 8/10.

Mega Malamar

My Friend Malamar jokes aside, I'm really glad this one got a Mega Evolution. Malamar has always been a really cool Kalos Pokemon that never really got much attention outside of its unique evolution method, so it's nice to see it get something. As much as I never really thought about it beforehand, the long thin body does fit Malamar very well, and the rainbow coloration they've been pushing with Z-A fits the Pokemon very well. I like the light-trails from its arms as well. Just kinda wish the "brain" looked a little different, idk. 9/10.
